Dr. Steingraber will also give a free public lecture on fracking while she’s in the San Francisco Bay Area. Here are the details:

An Evening with Sandra Steingraber: California Fracking and Public Health

Monday, October 12, 2015 – 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Schools of the Sacred Heart – Syufy Theater
2222 Broadway St.
San Francisco, CA

Co-hosted by Breast Cancer Action, Environmental Working Group and San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of Physicians for Social Responsibility

This event is free and open to the public. Capacity is limited so please RSVP here.

Dr. Steingraber is truly a force to be reckoned with –  she’s a hell-raising, award-winning environmental activist whose pioneering work on toxins linked to cancer has been game-changing in the environmental health movement. She’s also a dynamic speaker, so if the words “public lecture” made you snooze, wake back up and RSVP now –  our last event with Dr. Steingraber was standing room only!

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear Dr. Steingraber address the growing threat to our health from fracking – and the growing movement to stop this toxic process.

P.S. Dr. Steingraber will receive Breast Cancer Action’s Barbara Brenner Hell Raiser Award at our 25th anniversary event on October 8th. I hope you can join us on October 8th as well – get your tickets today.
