You’re in luck!
We still have a few tickets to our 2nd annual Acting Out – For The Health of It variety show and benefit event on Thursday, May 1st in San Francisco. If you don’t live in the Bay Area or can’t join us this time, you can still participate. Share this information with your friends via email, Facebook or Twitter and make a tax-deductible donation in lieu of a ticket to support our work.
Our night at the Brava Theater Center promises a wildly entertaining variety show. In true Breast Cancer Action style, all our entertainers have a bold streak. They’ll stir you up, make you laugh, set your toes tappin’, and have you singin’ in your seats. And they’ll be plenty of opportunities for you to generously support Breast Cancer Action’s great work.
Our fabulous performers all share your commitment to women’s health and are generously donating their time and talent to the make this night a success:
Peggy Orenstein – brilliant, funny and honest New York Times best-selling author;
Sarah Bush Dance Project – local cutting-edge contemporary dance troupe;
Irene Tu – up and coming stand-up comic, writer and performer;
The Beauty Operators – local high energy bluegrass group; and
Tania Katan – funny and fierce award-winning author who was a hit at last year’s show will be our emcee for the evening.
We look forward to seeing you and the rest of our San Francisco Bay Area community on May 1st. And thank you to those of you who can’t come but are joining us in spirit by making a donation.
